Sea Shepherd Tattoo Studio

Meraki Fade interviewed Sea Shepherd Artistic Director Geert Vons, himself a tattooist of 25 years, to discuss how tattooing is becoming an integral part of the organisation’s expansion by reaching new audiences beyond environmentalism.

Sea Shepherd produce their own range of Vegan tattoo inks, host visiting tattoo artists for sponsorship events at their Amsterdam HQ Tattoo Studio and encourage artists of all kinds to join forces and support the organisation by creating their own Sea Shepherd fundraising programmes.

Collaborating in 2019, Meraki held a Flash Day at her Brighton studio and has since tattooed mandala animals and breaching whales in dot realism at Sea Shepherd Tattoo raising funds going directly to sea conservation.
